About the work
& the person behind it
Caley Wekenmann is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in integrative and
trauma-informed mental health care. With a foundation in evidence-based practice and a passion
for addressing the complexities of mental wellness, she approaches each patient holistically,
acknowledging the interconnectedness of the mind and body.
Her values center on empowering individuals to reclaim their mental health, recognizing that healing has a ripple effect that benefits families, communities, and society as a whole.
Driven by a deep commitment to providing compassionate and personalized care, Caley integrates her training in integrative psychiatry to create tailored treatment plans that address both the underlying causes of mental health challenges and their manifestations. She values a collaborative approach, working closely with patients to uncover their unique needs and strengths.
Her professional journey has been shaped by her lived experiences and a lifelong dedication to
improving mental wellness. Witnessing her father’s struggles with accessing care after
military service and the broader impact on her family inspired her to focus on psychiatry.
Throughout her nursing career, she became acutely aware of the gaps in mental health care,
particularly the need for a more comprehensive approach that moves beyond medication
management alone.
Her goal is to foster resilience, self-compassion, and meaningful transformation in her patients’ lives.
“Through my work, I remain deeply committed to my core belief: Every individual who heals contributes to a more compassionate, thriving world. Healing begets healing. I am privileged to be apart of that.”
